Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

UbJournalfollows the values of openness and best ethical standards in academic publication as advised by the Committee on Publication Ethics' Code of Conduct and Best-Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (COPE)

Duties of Editors

Publishing Choices

Which of the articles submitted to the journal will be published is up to the editor's discretion. Regardless of the writers' color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, or political philosophies, the editor will analyze their papers. The significance, originality, and clarity of the work will be taken into consideration, as well as the validity and applicability of the research to the journal's field of study. It is also important to take into account current legal requirements for plagiarism, copyright infringement, and libel.

Confidentiality

The corresponding author, reviewers, prospective reviewers, other editorial advisors, and the publisher, where applicable, are the only people who should know anything about a manuscript that has been submitted. UbJournaltakes a number of precautions to protect the authors' work's anonymity and integrity.

Interest Conflicts and Disclosure

Without the author's express written approval, the editor and editorial board members will not utilize any unpublished materials revealed in a submitted manuscript for their own study.

Reviewers' Obligations

Participation in Editorial Judgments

Peer review may help the author improve the article while also assisting the editor and editorial board in their editorial judgments.

Promptness

Referees should tell the editor and resign from the review process if they feel unqualified to evaluate the research described in a paper or are aware that doing so quickly won't be feasible

Confidentiality

Any manuscripts that are sent to you for evaluation need to be handled with confidentiality. They cannot be shared or discussed with anyone else unless the editor has given permission.

Confidentiality

Any manuscripts that are sent to you for evaluation need to be handled with confidentiality. They cannot be shared or discussed with anyone else unless the editor has given permission.

Criteria for Objectivity

Reviews have to be carried out impartially. It is improper to criticize the author personally. Referees should clearly state their positions and provide evidence to back them up.

Source Acknowledgment

Reviewers should point out pertinent published works that the authors have not mentioned. Any claim that a certain observation, deduction, or argument has already been recorded should be supported by the appropriate reference. Any significant overlap or resemblance between the manuscript under consideration and any other published data that the reviewer is aware of should be brought to the editor's notice.

Interest Conflict and Disclosure

Peer review's privileged knowledge or ideas must be kept secret and not exploited for one's own benefit. Reviewers should avoid taking into account submissions for which they have competing, cooperative, or other ties or affiliations with any of the authors, businesses, or organizations associated with the submission.

Authors' Obligations

Reporting Standards

Authors who present the findings of original research should provide a truthful assessment of the work done and an unbiased analysis of its relevance. The article should appropriately reflect the underlying data. A paper should include enough information and citations to let someone else duplicate the work. False or deliberately incorrect comments are inappropriate and represent unethical conduct.

Data retention and access

The study's raw data may be requested from the authors along with the publication for editorial review, and they should be prepared to make the data publicly accessible if this is possible. In any case, authors should make sure that such data are accessible to other qualified professionals for at least ten years after publication (preferably through an institutional or subject-based data repository or another data center), provided that participant confidentiality can be maintained and that legal restrictions on the release of proprietary data do not apply.

Originality, Plagiarism, and Source Acknowledgment

Only completely original works will be submitted, and authors will properly credit or quote the ideas or words of others. Publications that had a significant impact on the reported work's nature should also be referenced. According to COPE principles, each claim of plagiarism is looked into.

Several, duplicate, or simultaneous publications

Generally speaking, research articles that basically describe the same study shouldn't be published in more than one publication. It is prohibited to submit the same work to several journals since this is considered unethical publishing practice.

No manuscripts that have been used elsewhere as copyrighted content may be submitted. Additionally, papers that are being reviewed by the journal shouldn't be submitted again to works that have copyright protection.

Who Wrote a Manuscript?

Only individuals who significantly contributed to the idea, design, implementation, or interpretation of the reported research should be given the privilege of authorship. Coauthors should be named for everyone who contributed significantly to the work. Other people who contributed to the study effort in meaningful ways should be acknowledged in the acknowledgements section.

The corresponding author should make sure that the author list of the manuscript includes all appropriate co-authors (as defined above) and excludes any inappropriate co-authors. They should also make sure that all co-authors have seen the final draft of the paper, approved it, and agreed to its submission for publication.

Risks and topics using humans or animals The authors must make it apparent in the paper whether the study uses any substances, techniques, or tools that have any particular risks built into their usage.

Interest Conflicts and Disclosure

Any financial or other significant conflict of interest that may be taken to have an impact on the findings or how they are interpreted in the publication should be disclosed by all authors in the manuscript. Disclosure of all funding sources for the project is required.

Publisher Responsibilities

In instances of claimed or proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publishing, or plagiarism, the publisher will take all necessary steps in close coordination with the Editors-in-Chief to explain the issue and rectify the offending article. In the worst scenarios, the impacted work may be completely retracted. This includes the quick release of an erratum.

In its publishing programs, services, and activities, the Publisher and the Journal do not discriminate on the basis of age, color, religion, creed, handicap, marital status, veteran status, national origin, race, gender, genetic predisposition or carrier status, or sexual orientation.

Basic Mistakes in Published Works

It is the responsibility of the author to collaborate with the journal's editor or publisher to either withdraw the article or issue an appropriate erratum when the author uncovers a serious mistake or inaccuracy in his or her own published work.
